Hi, I'm Marlee Newman a 16-year-old entrepreneur and the founder of My Lemonade Biz, a company focused on helping kids start their first real business through hands-on entrepreneurship kits. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by business, creativity, and finding ways to turn simple ideas into something real. From lemonade stands and small side hustles to constantly brainstorming new projects, entrepreneurship has always been something I genuinely enjoyed.

One of the things that inspired me most was realizing how much confidence and independence can come from building something yourself. Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned didn’t come from a classroom — they came from trying ideas, talking to people, solving problems, learning from mistakes, and figuring things out along the way. Those experiences helped shape the vision behind My Lemonade Biz.

I started building My Lemonade Biz with the goal of creating something I wish existed when I was younger: a modern, exciting, and inspiring way for kids to learn entrepreneurship through real-world experiences. Instead of feeling like a toy or school project, I wanted the brand to feel creative, premium, motivational, and authentic. The mission is to help kids build confidence, leadership, communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking while having fun creating something of their own.

Outside of My Lemonade Biz, I’ve always been interested in business, branding, technology, travel, and entrepreneurship. I built this company single handedly, and created the branding direction, worked on the product concepts, and developed the overall vision for the business from the ground up. I enjoy learning how companies grow, how brands connect with people, and how small ideas can turn into something much bigger over time.

At its core, My Lemonade Biz is about more than lemonade stands. It’s about inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs to dream bigger, think creatively, and realize that even small beginnings can lead to incredible opportunities. Big dreams really do start small 🍋
